Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Stacy Kioko, a self-taught graphic designer based in Nairobi, Kenya. My journey into the world of design began in 2018 during my school projects, where I competed assignments like presentations and social media posts for my Digital Marketing coursework using platforms like Canva.

This initial foray sparked my interest in digital marketing, leading to my first job as a conversational marketing intern with the school's social media team. Eager to expand my skills, I volunteered to assist a company in designing social media posts for campaigns addressing period poverty, further igniting my passion for design.

​

In 2021, I joined a Human-Centered Design studio as an administrative assistant. Due to the startup nature of the company with minimal personnel, I seized the opportunity to delve deeper into design by taking on additional responsibilities, including creating social media content using Figma. While Figma is primarily known for UI/UX design, I've adapted it to serve my graphic design needs effectively.

Throughout my journey, I've collaborated with clients across diverse industries, including automotive, micro-finance, and travel. From designing operationalized promotional booklets to social media posts, I've honed my skills in delivering impactful visual solutions.

Currently, I'm dedicated to enhancing my proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, seeking to elevate my design capabilities further. During my leisure time, I experiment with various design tools, creating book covers, vinyl artwork, posters, and product packaging to explore the depths of my creativity.
